First of all I wanna say that the media is a bitch. They're the reason for all these ridiculous rumors that people are believing, like Rihanna getting herpes from Jay-Z. And neither party can talk about it, so the rumors don't get denied and people believe them. Its bullshit. Ne-Yo's homo ass said he wasn't gay after coming out of the closet and people believe that shit...
Secondly, I think Chris Brown should get off. He's not a criminal, he's a damn singer. What would he look like in jail wit a bunch of killers and bank robbers and Nazis?? He never committed a crime in his life before this. Besides, how many guys have beat their girl's ass and/or threatened to kill her that are still walking the streets?? Definitely not zero. I'm not saying that stars should have special privileges in this country, but there's more at stake here. He is doing something big with his life right now, and T.I. should get off for the same reason. He's is a role model for kids. Just because you're a role model doesn't mean you're perfect. I say just give him a shitload of community service and call it a day.
Ya know what.... I think maybe Rihanna deserved to get her ass beat one time. That's right, I said it. I mean, you could say it's not right for a man to beat on his girl, and you would be absolutely right. You could also say that no girl deserves to get her ass whooped by her man and you would be lying like a mufucka. We all know that most black girls just dont know when to shut the fuck up!! And that shit can be so frustrating.
Now the media can't believe they're back together just because he beat her ass... I don't know why. I've seen countless relationships survive fistfights(and I say fistfight because i'm sure she hit him first). He beat her ass out of love. Yall mufuckas seen Baby Boy!! so u know how it goes. They still love each other, dumbass media!! But I am starting to see a trend with black couples. It started w/ Ike and Tina, then Bobby and Whitney. Could they be the next disfunctional couple? I just hope they don't end up doing crack... Gotdamn. Let me know how yall feel about this.

Personally I don't think he should get off...only because of the extent of her injuries--and you're right, these type of things happen a lot, but because celebrities get more exposure their cases are known. If Rihanna hadn't started screaming help and if no one had came out and called the police, none of this would have happened publicly.
As far as Rihanna deserving it...eh...idk. As far as her starting it, yeah that's true. From the accounts that are taken of what happened she went in his phone and started going off on him and while he didn't automatically start knocking her out, she said something, set him off, and he went crazy.
REGARDLESS--the problem here is the amount of force used. You don't have to bang someones' head against a window, put them in a headlock to where they can't breathe, and punch them to make a point.
