LATE REVIEW: ACE HOOD-GUTTA

Ace Hood's lyricism surprised me on his rookie album. I was impressed w/the way he rides the beat, and the topics of his songs go along with the title of the album.. The production somewhat sounds the same throughout the cd, and the hooks sound generic. But this is a good album to jam in the car if u got some fat ass woofers..... Overall, it's a solid record.

Luda is back following up his last album, which was super hot, but this one is even hotter.. every song is a banger, which is saying a lot for an album.. Theatre of the Mind is every bit as good as Kanye's new album, maybe even better. The songs that stick out the most to me are "MVP," which had a melo old school vibe with production by my fav producer, DJ Premier, and "Call Up the Homies," a strong west-coast style banger featuring The Game and Phoenix's Willy Northpole. Another noteworthy track is "I Do It For Hip Hop," which consisted of an on-point beat, scratching, and verses from Nas and Jay-Z. But really, I could talk about every song on the album because they all were on point. Its definitely worth the purchase..

This was one of the most creative albums I've heard in a long time. The beats we're probably the best part of the album.. Even though the synthesizer is kinda play out, Kanye used it in his own way.. Overall, the it's a beast of an album, even for an R&B/Pop cd.

That could be the perfect cover for a terrorist to come in and take America from the inside. It's a perfect plan if he really is one, and the thought of this being possible is fucking scary. But............... I voted for Obama, which means I put my trust in the hope that all this is not true and that he will do everything he has preached so far.... okay before i drop my top 10 (the official top 10 of all-time in my opinion) i wanna say that Jeezy sucks and T.I. sucks.. I'm not hating, I say that for a reason.
